Rabby Nevin was an Einish poet and lyricist. He is widely regarded as the most famous poet of Tir'Ein and is celebrated all across Nora. He is best known for his Elven language poetry, a language of which he had a strong command, although much of his writing is also in Common, accessible to an audience beyond Tir'Ein.

As well as making original compositions, Nevin also collected folk songs from across Tir'Ein, often revising or adapting them. His poem (and song) "_" is often sung at Solvos, and "_" served for a long time as an unofficial anthem of the kingdom. Other poems and songs of Nevin that remain well known today include "Ldaffyn, Our Dear"; "Voices Out of Greene"; "To a Pixie, A Nixie Three"; "The Battle of Crownbreak"; "Kiss from the Moon"; and "On the River".

His greatest work was written when he was 29.
