Oleg, son of Olaf was the owner of Oleg's Trading Post. His wife is Svetlana. Oleg is a middle-aged man with a no-nonsense attitude and fierce pride.
Biography
Bandit War
Was a part of the Bandit Wars until the very end in 1262 ARC. Considers it the best time in his life when he felt the most alive. He fought with a double edged axe.
Marriage
A year later, using the money he made in the war, he married a woman from Nyothrond. They lived in the city for some time as general goods merchants.
Tax Evasion
In 1266, House Sorensval raised taxes and Oleg refused to pay for five years. The authorites found out about it and chased Oleg out of the city. He sought refuge in Hamerstoc, though the politics found there grated on Oleg's sensibilities. His wife fell sick during the journey and spend the next several years bed ridden before her death.
In 1271, he bought Svetlana from her father and married her.
Trading Charter
In 1275 ARC, Oleg gained a trading charter for a ruined fort from the Bandit Wars. He readily accepted it and began rebuilding the fort with his wife.
