Lavethia (Gnome: Tosdour; Elven: Llydaw) was the name of the modern Duchy of Levetiera during the Age of Kings.

Aventi Colonies
The ancients of Aventus landed in the very north west portion of the land and left evidence of their passing. At least two massive dungeon complexes filled with strange living crystals. Those who enter these dungeons do not return. Mystery surrounds everything about the Aventi. Sometimes creatures are seen near the dungeons somehow made partially of crystal with blank looks in their eyes.
In other parts of the land, some have witnessed massive towers of unbreakable crystal. Those who approach claim to hear whispers coming from the crystals. Most stay away from these hated structures as they have driven many to madness.

The City of Ruin, Tambelon is under the control of gnolls and their Div masters.
Coming of the Midgardians
The Midgardians began landing on the northern shores around ten years ago. They call themselves Wolfbrothers (Ulvbror) and are dangerous folk. They are giant men with white hair and large beards. Some tales say they can shapeshift into bears and wolves. Even more harrowing than that are the clerics among them, called Haunters. They worship Malja, their dark goddess of winter and death. The Haunters have frozen skin and spread frost wherever they go. They raise their dead warriors as draugr and use them as shock troops.
