Biography

Goodwin did not expect to be the heir of the house and lived his young life full of leisure. He fell in love with a innkeeper's daughter and planned to marry her.

However, in 1348, Lucian Purple was assassinated and the patronage to the house went to 17 year old Goodwin. His daughter was born later that year, but the family would not allow him to see her and set up his marriage to Laura es'Ubira.

Kidnapping of Mandy Valin and death

Lord Purple, as leader of the Alexandrian order of the Red Gate Society, had Mandy Valin kidnapped in order to lure Tempest into a trap for capture. Tempest transformed into a dragon, stormed the Gate's facility in the Theater District and, with the help of Tik, was able to defeat Lord Purple's devil form and capture him. Keeping him in a magic circle, he and Nikki Floren questioned him, using torture when needed. Nikki then destroyed the Lord with her bow.

Family

Had an illegitimate daughter, Trissina Purple (b. 1348) before his marriage.
